90 x 90° TRACTRIX SILICONE HYBRID HORN
Klipsch's proprietary Tractrix horn geometry is specifically designed to efficiently transmit the tweeter's high frequencies to the listener. This second-generation Tractrix horn is larger for better directivity and a wider overall soundstage. The Tractrix horn is able to achieve this level of audio fidelity and smooth frequency response when combined with a phase plug and a compression molded silicone surface.

VENTILATED TWEETER DESIGN
The vented tweeter enclosure in this floorstanding speaker clarifies the high-frequency signal by reducing standing waves that would otherwise create unwanted harmonics

CERAMIC WOOFER
Another distinctive aspect of the Klipsch Reference Premiere speakers is their Cerametallic woofers. This floorstanding speaker features dual 8-inch woofers in the main cabinet and a single upward-firing 6.5-inch Dolby Atmos woofer in the upper portion of the speaker. The Cerametallic construction keeps them lightweight yet rigid to maximize acoustic efficiency and minimize distortion.

IMPROVED WIRING
The RP-8060FA II features audiophile-grade wiring and easily accessible aluminum binding posts for any type of connection.

TOP MATERIALS
Klipsch uses furniture-grade MDF for a durable and attractive appearance. The cabinet is internally braced and divided to minimize resonance and vibration. The ebony vinyl finish includes satin-painted baffles that have a scratch-resistant coating.

MAGNETIC GRID
You have the option to expose the copper-colored woofers or cover them with the included magnetic speaker grilles.

Bi-WIRING AND Bi-AMPING
Dual input jacks on the back of each speaker allow you to bi-wire and bi-amp with additional (optional) cables. Bi-wiring allows you to separate the high and low frequencies for each cable. By separating them, interference and distortion are minimized, providing a clearer sound that is more accurate in your listening environment. Bi-amping can generate more power for your speakers by using external crossovers with your separate power amplifiers.

CAST ALUMINUM LEGS
In addition to its sleek and modern look, the RP-8060FA II's cast aluminum legs provide less resonance than wooden or plastic ones. These legs have been designed to reduce the surface area in contact with the floor, giving you the added benefit of faster, more powerful bass and more sonic detail.
