Klipsch's Reference line is up to the task. The Klipsch Reference R-50C is a low-profile speaker with a high-performance center channel, designed to deliver detailed on-screen sound effects and clear dialogue.

NEXT GENERATION DRIVERS
Each woofer in the R-50C 5.25″ uses copper-plated TCP (thermoformed crystalline polymer) for its cone material. Klipsch chose this material for its smooth response and transparency.
The woofer also uses some of the trickle-down technology from the more expensive Reference Premiere line. It has a similar conical shape and uses additional ribs for added rigidity, which reduces distortion at higher frequencies.
The Tractrix® 90°x 90° horn also gets an upgrade. Klipsch has widened its aperture for greater high-frequency directivity. This means the 1-inch LTS (Linear Travel Suspension) tweeter inside the horn has a wider “sweet spot” and delivers more detail.
