The Forte IV is not only powerful, but also incredibly accurate. The design is based on a three-way system that uses a 12-inch (30.5 cm) woofer and horn-loaded midrange and tweeter.
→ New K-702 Midrange: Equipped with a polyimide diaphragm, it delivers exceptional dynamics and precision. It is coupled with a modified Tractrix® Horn with patented Mumps technology, which enables a more even polar response and consistent sound throughout the room.
→ Wide Treble Dispersion: The titanium high-frequency driver includes a completely new phase plug that provides exceptionally even dispersion and a wider, more precise listening area (sweet spot).
→ All-New Network: The Forte IV has been completely redesigned. It uses premium components in a new high-fidelity network that reduces electrical degradation. This delivers a sound that is closer to reality, with first-class efficiency and performance.

Klipsch uses an exclusive "book-matched" wood veneer technique. The veneer sheets are precisely cut and arranged to create a mirror image at the joint—like turning the pages of a book. This gives each speaker an aesthetically pleasing and consistent look that is considered the finest woodworking.

Each pair of Forte IV speakers is captured on a wood-fiber basis, with the veneer panels taken from the same piece of wood. The enclosures are carefully matched so that each speaker in the pair is virtually indistinguishable from the next. The speakers are given sequential serial numbers, ensuring they leave the factory as a meticulously crafted set.
